The Diamondbacks' AA affiliate in Mobile will have 7 of the team's Top 11 prospects on its roster in 2011. Pitchers Jarrod Parker and Wade Miley head the pitching staff for Mobile. Parker is the team's #1 overall prospect, and Miley is ranked #7. Parker is returning after missing 2010 with Tommy John surgery, while Miley returns to AA after going 5-2 with a 1.98 ERA down the stretch in 2010. Also in the rotation will be the #9 and #10 prospects in Charles Brewer and Patrick Corbin. Brewer won the Diamondbacks' Minor League Pitcher of the Year in 2010, while Corbin impressed after coming over from the Angels in the Dan Haren trade. The Bay Bears, who finished last in the Southern League with only 69 Home Runs in 2010, will also have slugging 1B Paul Goldschmidt and OF Marc Krauss, who hit 35 and 25 HR respectively for Class A Visalia last season. The other top prospect for Mobile is CF A.J. Pollock, who also missed 2010 with injuries, but looked very good both offensively and defensively in the Arizona Fall League and in Spring Training.
