The Diamondbacks have signed two of their top draft picks from the June draft, Robby Rowland and Adam Eaton. Rowland, a 3rd round pick, had a commitment to the University of Oregon, but has decided to turn pro instead. One factor in his decision is that he will get to play with his older brother Richie, who was an undrafted catcher out of Campbellsville University. Richie and Robby will both report to Rookie League Mizzoula on Tuesday. Adam Eaton was drafted in the 19th round after his junior season at Miami, Ohio, and has decided to skip his senior year and sign a pro contract. Eaton will fly to Phoenix on Saturday for a physical, and then will be assigned to either Yakima or Mizzoula. Yakima's season begins on June 18, while Mizzoula starts on June 21.
